So, another exciting month has almost gone by. I've been doing a bit of driving again, putting money back in pocket after Christmas. Had to fix the snowblower yesterday. Seems a 12" cable for the drive gave out, and the local dealers have been having a run on them. Guess everyone's 5 year warranty ran out at exactly the same time mine did. Expect the neighbours machine to go soon :)

Been mostly healthy and wise (not wealthy) with just a touch of the cold. Unfortunately, it touched my throat, resulting in post-nasal drip (ugh) with strep throat(ugh x2) and dry hacking cough (ugh ..you get the idea) Doc has me on some anti-biotics, these things are HUGE! 875mg, about 2cms/ 3/4 inch long, and, of course, tasty.....

Been watching the_gneech and Susandeer get ready for the cons, wish I could join them. Lets see what tonights National Gambling Addiction brings. brb, pizza done!

Good news to pass along.. My brother had his first child born in December, a little girl named Maggie Theresa. Mother and daughter are both doing well. Pround grandparents left my sisters place on Dec26th and drove 1500 kms plus one ferry trip to go see her. Planning on staying until March or so. Poor kid's going to be spoiled rotten! :D

Woke up yesterday morning, duvet off the bed, one thin sheet covering me, and a slight cramp in my leg. Not so bad. Get out of bed, take 3 steps , then notice that the left ankle doesnt seem to be in order. Apparently, I kicked off the bed covers so hard that I have sprained my ankle. Thank the maker for Ace bandages :)

Tried to do a bit more gaming as well, had to get Nirrum up past 31. Level 35 before I get that dang horse and start saving silver! But, auctions go well, I have 3 gold as of Sunday, house is paid for, just upgrading armour and armaments. Still a few solo quests to do, and a lot of Fellowship ones. I blame this all on the_gneechas he is the one who brought me back into RP gaming. Darn you sir, darn you to Heck!!

And no time for reason.

The "remnants" of hurricane Noel are heading towards my area with great speed and gusto. But, since there is no longer an eye associated with this storm, it isnt a H any more. But tell that to the heavy rains, foaming sea, and 80 Knot winds!! (Thats a class 2 hurricane with the eye)

Other than that..... no more job. Still out looking for something meaningful, not calling people up at 5pm and selling them encyclopedias and vacuum cleaners. Might head out West, except I dont want to live with 4 other people in a 2 bedroom basement paying $400 each for rent. Yeah, it's crazy out in Alberta.

My parents have gone on their pilgramage (sp?) to the sun again, back for another month in Fort Myers. So they went around the 'cane. Le Sigh.

Because I am STILL in my bathrobe as I type.

Stupid stupid stupid me or livejournal. I clicken on a HELP button and everything I had written went kablooie. Grrrrr / mad/ dissappointed.

Wondering why the weather is wonky. Warmer today then most days this July. Guess the new Mother Nature's taking over.

Still not flying, bummed on that. But it's an expensive hobby. Anyone got a few thousand dollars to go towards a flyboy's tuition?

Job opportunity in the near Future(Shop) . Hope to know soon. They said calls for people going out mid-Oct. le sigh. Was working an an autoparts plant until I re-injured myself. Anyone with a spare knee I could borrow?

Sept 19th was International Talk Like a Pirate day and I missed it. Must be the Viking influence on me.

Got a new aquarium last week. Should have bought fish as well. Local Wally-world is 2-3x more expensive than Pets-Unlimited (they are around the Atlantic Provinces of Canada). We MIGHT be getting one here soon, so the rumour goes.

Well. my second "official" blog entry. Not too exciting again, as usual. Just sitting in the basement listening to the fans hum on the computer and the birds singing outside.
My eyes bother me again, not too sure if its the allergies or bad fitting contacts. Prolly a little of both.
Dad is heading off to work tomorrow on the Labrador coastal boats. Even though he retired 3 years ago. Guess he likes that pocket money!
Still wondering if I have a fursona, thinking it might be draconic or avian. Definitely flight capable! heh, maybe i'm a flying squirrel!!!!
